What is Monotropism?
Monotropism could be viewed as the central underlying feature of Autism (And many ADHDers relate to this as well!). For me, monotropism is like a core thread that weaves and flows through every aspect of my bodymind. I am monotropic and this theory helps to explain everything about my life, my ways of being and how I perceive, and process, understand, interpret and engage in the world.
